ABOUT PROF. LOFTUS
Meet Prof. Bill Loftus
Professor Bill Loftus began practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1993 and holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt. Studying under Prof. Renato Migliaccio, a 5th-degree BJJ black belt, his lineage is directly tied to the great ones… the Gracie family and the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mitsuyo Maeda.
Prof. Loftus currently holds the #1 spot of the IBJJF ranking, lightweight division.
In addition to his 3rd degree BJJ black belt, Professor Loftus holds a black belt in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate and a brown belt in Judo, and coached youth wrestling for 10 years.
ABOUT LOFTUS JIU-JITSU ACADEMY
Loftus Jiu-Jitsu Academy currently holds Gi and No-Gi BJJ classes 6-days per week. In addition, we offer Judo and Wrestling classes, as well.
We conduct several jiu-jitsu seminars and camps, throughout the year, and also travel abroad to teach and train with our international community of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.
